You are not what you eat.
You are so much more than that.

nutrition counseling & support

I’m glad you’re here. I’m a Registered Dietitian by trade but have more of a whole-human approach rather than the traditional diagnosis based approach when it comes to nutrition therapy.

In a culture obsessed with control, healing your relationship with food is rarely about trying harder. Our work will prioritize nourishment, flexibility, and rebuilding trust with your body - without shame, fear, or extremes.

I have always appreciated the few clinicians that have truly made an effort to get to know me and what my body has been through before giving me any sort of advice or support. So, I provide the same empathetic and curious ear for my clients.

Ready to make food fun again?

No seriously. Let’s take a breather from all the noise on social media for a minute.

Building a sustainable and healthy relationship with food and body after years, maybe even decades, of yo-yo dieting or eating disorder behaviors, will eventually make food fun again.

However, there’s no easy “fix” and there’s no perfect timeline.
The only way out is through and I’d be honored to support you on your unique journey.

You are more than a diagnosis and you are more than your weight on the scale.
You are a whole person and I see you.

Every body is welcome here.

Kind Words

  • “Connie helped me change my mindset about food so that I am not afraid of it anymore. Her help has enabled me to have a good relationship with food and body image and I regained my period after losing it for almost 4 years. I’m so thankful!” - Hannah (nutrition therapy client) “I loved working with Connie! She strikes just the right balance between helping clients set goals and make progress, while also cultivating your self compassion and sharing thoughtful education every step of the way. Working with her gave me such valuable insight into my own habits, my health history, and how to unpack the unhelpful food rules I’d absorbed from our diet culture obsessed society. It has been more than 6 months since our last meeting, and I still reference the things she taught me on a weekly basis. I encourage anyone considering meeting with a dietitian to connect with Connie- she’s passionate, easy to talk to, and can help you in more ways than you probably realize!

    Becci (nutrition client)

  • "We wanted to hire a practitioner that would not only be able to connect with our coaches from the fitness professional perspective, but someone that has the unique expertise of working with eating disorder/disordered eating clients in their daily practice. Connie’s presentation helped to act on our commitment to help promote diversity, equity, and inclusion”

    Solidcore (Corporate wellness client)

  • "Connie spoke to our team during our Health and Wellness Month. She was engaging, educational and approachable with impactful information! With many different ages and backgrounds, it was a great space to bring some of our own misconceptions around “healthy habits” and level set about what you actually need with a knowledgeable (and fun!) expert.

    GBSM Denver (Corporate Wellness Client)

  • “I felt like I had hit a dead end before I started seeing Connie. Ever since I was a little girl I thought something was wrong with my body. That my body needed to change in order to be loved and to be able to exist on this earth peacefully. I spent, what felt like my whole life trying a diet or new workout trend to fit the mold that the world was telling me I needed to. Within the first moment of meeting Connie I knew it was a safe and comfortable space which allowed me to share anything and everything. She met me with care and empathy every time I stepped foot in her office. Along with that, she gave me several tools to help reframe how I thought about food and exercise. I now have days where I eat a bagel and start crying tears of happiness and relief because of the food freedom I feel! I can go to dance workout classes and don’t even think about calories or altering my body. I think about enjoying the joyful movement and how free my body feels and how thankful I am that I can dance. I never thought I would be able to look at my body even on the hard days, and say thank you to it, love it, nourish it, and listen to it.”

    Cameron (client)

  • “Connie is simply an amazing human. Having struggled with an eating disorder for over 20 years, I have visited my fair share of dietitians and nutrition counselors. So when I say that Connie is my favorite, it is not just because I have never done this before. I have never worked with a dietitian who is as warm, personable, nonjudgemental, and as practical as Connie. Some people like to say they are non-diet dietitians or that they teach intuitive eating, but then they start giving you rules and struct meal plans to follow. Connie, instead, offers support and guidance combined with flexibility and understanding of individual preferences, financial needs, and the fact that not all of us have 8 hours a week to cook and meal prep! If you are looking for support for any eating issues, body image, or even just an encouraging human to talk to, Connie is that person!”

    Michelle (nutrition therapy client)

  • “If you are looking for an RDN who cares deeply about you as a person and not just a “client” then you came to the perfect person. I started working with Connie in April 2020 during the pandemic. I had a relapse in my eating disorder and I needed intervention quickly. Two years later, I’m a completely different person. Connie saw potential in me when I felt blind… She consistently challenged my mindset and encouraged me to face my fear foods and environments that I avoided. We had a lot of laughs as well as tears. I will never be able to thank Connie enough for always showing up to my appointments with passion for what she does and the time she spent to make sure I was becoming the best version of myself. Connie is consistent with her care as well as appointments. She has her own personal journey with her ED recovery that truly inspired me to know that I can recover too.”
